Celebrate With Us at Our Anniversary Gala!
Jewish Child & Family Services (JCFS) hosts its Anniversary Gala celebrating 150 years of providing critical services to Chicago area children and families. The evening of dinner, dancing and raffle for a getaway to a luxury resort in Napa Valley will support critical services for Chicago-area children and families and will help ensure the future of JCFS’ programs.
“This is going to be an historic and memorable event,” said JCFS board president Don Trossman. “JCFS started in Chicago as a soup kitchen in 1859 and provided care for orphans at the turn of the last century with its Marks Nathan Jewish Orphan Home. Those same helping ideals guide JCFS services today.” The Gala honors retiring JCFS executive director Robert Bloom’s long-time commitment to improving the lives of children and families in the community. Trossman has great respect for Bob Bloom. “He is a man who would do whatever it takes to help a child or a family in need. His creativity dedication and service to the Jewish community has been second to no one,“ Trossman says. Click here for the full story, invitation, rsvp and to register online.
